Cat Chaos

Cat Chaos was created as part of a 1 semester Indie Game Development module at Abertay University. The team consists of 2 programmers, 3 artists and 2 designers.

In the game players must prevent their house from being destroyed, done through interacting with the 5 cats in the house and completing tasks to fill their needs. The player wins the game by keeping the house health and cat happiness above a certain level, at which point they will be given a rating on how they performed.

My Roles

​

  • Created the skillcheck mini game system.

  • Created the interaction system (player, cat, objects)

  • Created the cat mood and house health systems.

  • Implemented a border shader to the game.

  • Created the main game loop.
